nitrohamster- The burst mechanic is a last resort single-use utility move, that can be used offensively or defensively. For example, if you're bombarded by attacks, you can use it to knock them away from you even midst taking damage. Use it just as you're about to hit the edge of the screen to stop yourself and recover. Jump off the platform and attempt to spike enemies with it, without worrying about being unable to return. Or in a similar fashion, use it when you've used up your up B/second jump as a second chance to escape the death pit.
